My good friend's daughter has been in and out of the hospital this past summer and had a major surgery so I was so happy when I had a chance to review the Teddy Tank. I knew I was going to surprise my friend's daughter with this because she so need a pet that can be with her where ever life takes her right now. I loved the smile this brought to her face and couldn't wait to take her fish shopping.
This is the Betta she picked out and named Squishie
When the people with Teddy Tank learned I was going to give my review tank away to my friends daughter they were kind enough to offer me a second tank for myself to review. I choose the elephant tank and figure I would keep it in my office. At first my husband and son weren't to into the whole Teddy Tank but after I put a fish in the tank all they can do is show it off. I find my husband and son feeding the Betta and playing around with the tank. Also my son keeps taking the tank and putting it in his room. We named our Betta Fishie and the funny thing was I didn't even know at the time that my friends daughter named her fish Squishie. I never thought we would be a fish family.
I love how this lights up and how you can feed the fish threw the mouth of the elephant.
Give a child a fish, and you’ll hold his interest for a moment. Give a child a Teddy Tank, and he’ll be captivated for hours on end. This beguiling stuffed animal—available in a variety of animals, each features a transparent plastic tummy that provides the perfect habitat for a pet Betta fish, and comes equipped with a net, acrylic gravel, and a decorative plant. Interaction with your Teddy Tank is endless! Children can feed the Betta through the plush animals mouth! Dress their Teddy Tank in style with velcro bows! Talk to their furry friend through a 10 second voice recorder. Plush parts remove with ease, which makes it very easy to clean the one gallon fish bowl. Or, the gallon-size bowl can hold other treasures, from gumballs to coins, to car keys or candy. Teddy Tank includes an LED nightlight, and records messages for on the ten-second voice recorder, so your animal can play back your voice with your message anytime. Great for a give-away prize, to decorate desks, baby shower gifts, birthday presents, holiday gifts and hospital gifts! Fun for everyone! The Betta Fish are a perfect Beginner's Pet! Betta fish need little maintenance and can be fed every other day so no worries on weekends if you are closed. To keep the water fresh (use dechlorinator), swap out one large cup of water each week and replace. Betta do not like super clean environments, they prefer their water to be familiar. Only put one betta fish in your Teddy Tank, they are territorial and will get aggressive if they see another fish. Betta fish are happiest when they have the bowl all to themselves!
